Vertex
Click Gun Metal dressed up in a piece of Black Palm.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with extra fine steel wool, and applied 6 coats of Clear Gloss MINWAX OMWB Polyurethane.
This click is one of the best click mechanisms I have run into so far, nice and solid.

This is a piece off of the Black Palm that I used in the Vertex barrel.

Great looking pen Les and right up to your usual high standard.
I like the vertex kit. Must get some.
Black palm is a protected species in Australia but it does grow throughout SE Asia.
Its only rlatuve is the Foxtail palm here in Aus, which is also protected.
Takes a sharper than sharp tool and really steady hand to turn the blank!!
