hey Shirls, can you please stop heading all your new threads with the same title

Sorry, Gumby. I'm not a computer whizz, and am still a little wary of the rights and wrongs when working with the forum. Sat in front of this ruddy screen wondering what I had done wrong. Then the penny dropped. ( I think ) I hope I will get better with age, but then again, given my age, maybe it's too late. Be kind to an old girl.

Thanks all. The Gary Pye site has the full assembly instructions.

Hey, you are doing A OK - I too was very nervous about forum protocol and, I can assure you, it gets easier with practice.

I've been here four years and I don't know about any forum protocol. Is there one?

    Hey Mrs W,

Just head you new thread with what you need to ask eg BT401 instructions. You are doing fine, you will always find someone that will answer your questions, you may get different answers but we will answer.

Forum protocol. is there one? Good on ya Bazza. ROTFALMAO

Shirley, Gumby is correct that it is easier to get the responses you want if you put a clear title in the message. I am sure he was trying to help rather than criticise though. If you like I am able to change the titles for you, if you have difficulty. Just let me know through a Private Message (PM) or a post somewhere asking for help. One of the regulars will let me know for sure.

Great to have you here, welcome!

Thanks Groggy. What Gumby said did not worry me at all. I just could not work out what I was doing wrong. I think I have it sorted out now. Thanks to all you lovely people for your support.

I'm glad of that Shirls, I wasn't having a crack at you at all.

Just being my usual, cheery, happy and extremely helpful self.

    Welcome aboard BTW.

You will get more help by putting a relevant title in the heading of your posts. Just look at it this way, don't write your name anywhere and you can't go wrong.

You could do a test by starting a new thread and title it "Help, That Awful Plasticine Man is Pickin' on Me"

I'm sure you'd get plenty of support if you did
