I perosnally appreciate Amos showing where things can go wrong and what can be done to fix them up. Without seeing some of his fills on blowouts previously, I may not have been temopted to fix my recent red mallee burl blowout.

Also, I think it's very encouraging for newcomers to see that even the pro's can make mistakes, and it's not the end of the world. If someone new comes here and sees picture after picture of perfect pens, and theri own first efforts don't turn out as well, it can be disheartening and may cause them to prematurely give up as something they think they can't do. When first starting to learn to throw boomerangs, I spent a couple of years on & off having the occasional throw, then giving up because I spent so much time chasing teh boomerang around the field, and never catching it. Then I met a local guy who just happened to be a world champion boomerang thrower and he showed me that even at his level, you don't catch every throw you make. This was the inspiration I needed to see that I didn't suck more than anyone else, it was just a difficult thing to do, and I had to keep practicing.

Not that I'm in Amos's league, but I'm alwasy happy tro make myself look silly by posting the stupid things I've done, in the hopes that others can learn from it, or I can learn how to do things better.

Keep up the great work Amos.

Russell.
