Yellow Sirocco
This is a Sirocco pen I turned today using one of Marla's (SWMBO) feather blanks. The Sirocco is a finial twist pen in the Sierra size range using the same tubes. Turned between centres with a gouge initially and then with a skew. Sanding with 320, 400, 0000 steel wool and then shined up using a Beall 3 wheel buffing wheel set. Disclaimer: Marla makes blanks for Beaufort Ink, the seller of the sirocco kit. Comments welcome.

I think it looks great, but I think I may need to see some of these feather blanks in the flesh - a bit like a lot of miks' blanks, they may loose a bit in a photo...
Ripper job none the less and thanks for sharing.....I do love the British suppliers, they seem to have great taste in components..."All the gear and no idea"

I appreciate the pat on the back folks.
Gabriel not to turn this in a commercial but there is a supplier of Marla's blanks in Australia in case you wanted to flesh one out yourself. He gives them funny names though.
