The usual response for when a site exceeds it's bandwidth is that the isp posts a similar page to the error 500, but just stating that the site has exceeded its bandwidth.
He may be doing a revamp, but that would normally show an advisory notice.
Hope he wasn't poached, you know like there are webiste domain name harvesters that grab yer name if it just runs out, they register it and then offer it back to you for some ridiculously high price. Swine!

Brett, unfortunately Tom no longer maintains his website. I think he is spending more time on his sound studio and making music nowadays, pity (for us).

For sites like this - you can alway use thw "Wayback Machine" here:
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
You can "recall" lots of good old stuff...
In this case, just enter www.plamann.com into the prompt box, wait for the results, and select the year you want...
