Connecting rafters, joists to existing house
Hi All
I can think of various ways to do this ... but what's the norm for connecting a small extension (below) to the existing house wall?
Top of rafters - perhaps a batten screwed along the house then connect rafters to batten with nails and triple grips?
Ceiling joists - batten screwed along house and use joist hangers?
Bearer (house side) - bolted along existing house bearer with M10?? bolts at 1000mm centres?
Thank you in advance.
