Hi Guys,

Hopefully this is the right area, we are about to do a small extension out the back of our brick veneer on concrete slab house to create a new bedroom and make our bathroom a little bigger, great idea with a baby due in 6 months...
I've attached a simple floorplan showing the existing and new layouts.

I've put together a brief list of steps that I think is required to get this done, have some questions on some of them. Have I missed out on any major steps?

Thanks.
Eden

Steps
- Demo existing awning & rip up pavers
- Knock down the existing external bathroom & toilet walls, straight cut where new frame will go in?
- Demo bathroom, toilet back to bare frame
- Cut bathroom slab for new sewer setup
- Remove window and brick veneer from existing bedroom
- Install new window in bedroom, brick veneer around it
- Excavate slab & footings according to engineer plans
- Drill into existing slab and install bars, easy where veneer has been removed, what about where the veneer is still there?
- Setup drainage

- Termite Treatment
- Builders plastic
