Hanging Mirror on plasterboard
So - not really sure where to post this. Hoping there might be some helpful souls on here.
I have bought some glassboards that weigh 15-17kg each.
The down side is I need to mount these onto plasterboard within an office.
I know that you can buy the hollow wall anchors - but at present they seem capped at 10kg each.
There are 3 anchoring points underneath. If I was to use 3 hollow wall anchors each with a weight limit of 10kgs - is that going to hold a 15-17kg object? Or doesn't it work like that? There are also 3 anchor points on top - but they don't hold any weight - just stop it tipping forward!
FWIW - many moons ago on here I learnt from scratch how to build a deck - and ended up building a perfect 80m2 jarrah deck... not bad for a guy who was (and remains) an absolute spud when it comes to home handyman stuff.
Cheers in advance - and apologies if this is the wrong forum!

3 should hold it, but if the placement of mirror is not critical, why not find a stud, and use that.
