Default House Lifter Referral ( Sutherland Shire, Sydney)

G'Day, (Newbie Post so go easy please

I'm going down the path of lifting my house and building under neath. I'm after a reccomendation for someone who can do this in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney.

I've attached a picture of the house to be lifted, as you can see there is already a garage underneath the house so access for 80% of the underhouse area is quite good. The house will only need to be lifted approximately 800-1000mm (my guesstimate) to give good head clearance and hide steel and plumbing work when finished.

    Thanks
    Clint

Hi Clint, my thinking would be that there aren't that many of those guys around so I would be getting quotes from all over the place - country areas even.
I'm sure they all travel and I wouldn't be supprised if Qld crews were operating down here.

Bleedin Thunmb, I think your'e spot on, most of the House Lifting crews are QLD or rural NSW, I'll start doing the ring around shortly. At the moment I just want to get an idea for what the lift, steel, foundataoin slab will cost before I got to the drafty and get a DA application in to council.

Anyway the quest continues, Felder I'll definetly post more pics as the project moves on.

Most house removalists should be able to do the job.

Hi Clint, you may like to have a look at this web site and try contacting them www.housemovingcontractors.com.au .
Have been thinking of doing a KDR and was looking around for house movers to see if existing house could be moved, etc as would rather see old place moved rather than demolished.
Hope this may help you a bit.
