Can I screw pryda joist straps?
Hi everyone,
I have to install some new/additional hanging beams, the existing ceiling joists are 100 years old with the original ornate ceilings. I'm concerned about banging every joist with the hammer and wondering if I can screw these instead? According to the tech specs it says fix "Using 35x3.15 mm galvanised Pryda Timber Connector Nails or equivalent". What does equivalent mean?
With some of their fixings it says that you can use type 17 screws but on others it just says "equivalent".
Thanks
