What type of wood should I use?
I have an area where I have removed a partially rotted stud or two from a non-load bearing wall and need to replace them. What sort of timber should I use. I was thinking treated pine in a 70mm x 35mm size. The existing studs are hardwood 75mm x 40mm however I can't seem to find anywhere that stocks wood in that size.
I am also building a cupboard and think I should use the same wood there as well.
Please let me know if I should be using something else.
