    Default adhesive

    Hi all,

I am in process of installing a 130mm Red iron bark floor over an existing timber floor.

After reading this forum, I have decided to use either Bostik Ultraset or Sikabond T55. Now I have several questions before deciding between these 2 glue.
    1. What are the pros and cons between these two?
    2. Which one is the most economical? Where to purchase in Sydney?
    3. In term of application, will they be used in the same manner and quantity?
    4. Any other info, I need before making the decision.

    Thanks,
    JT

dont go to bunnings or a normal hardware store they rip you off try a flooring trade center there are a few around, what area are you in.

i would advise not using drums as it gets messy i use the saguaes even when full trowel gluing.

    1 sagaue = 1m2 approx. use 3mm v notch trowel.

Default What about Selleys Direct Stick

I'm was wondering the same thing about glue, however the mob selling me the timber is recommending Selleys liquid nails direct stick for timber flooring. Have you had any experience with this and how different is it to Bostick or Sika?

    Cheers
