Decking Post Size?
I'm looking at replacing some rotten posts on my deck. It stands about 3m above ground level. The posts which are currently in place look like 90 x 90 oregon. I'm looking at replacing these with 90 x 90 F27 DAR Kiln Dried Merbau. Will this sizing be OK? Most reading I have done suggests minimum hardwood post size of 100 x100.
