Trade connect for timber flooring
Hello,
I'm looking for 75 m2 of 19x80 tongue and groove flooring in select grade in either WA Karri or Syd Blue Gum. The prices being quoted on tradeconnect are significantly lower than from the likes of Boral. The downside is that you don't know where or who it is coming from.
Has anyone bought timber flooring from tradeconnect before? If so, how did you find it?
Ben

Haven't purchased timber from TradeConnect but I have enquired about some other products and they are generally helpful and answer equiries. i.e they will probably give you some more details about the supply if you follow through the quote process.
I have generally found them expensive in comparison to offline suppliers ... but as I said, it wasn't timber.
Good luck.

Have a talk to Studley on this forum about some of the timber he is getting from up North. I ended up getting around 100 sqm worth at about a $1 a lineal metre cheaper than TradeConnect were advertising (inlcuding delivery)
There was a young boy called Wyatt
Who was awfully quiet
And then one day
He faded away
Because he overused White
Floorsanding in Canberra and Albury.....

Works out that they couldn't freight to my door and they needed at least 3 weeks to get their hands on it, so I just got Boral to price match it instead
