Hi All, I am new to the forum. I'm about to demolish and build a new house in western suburbs of adelaide, but to avoid paying rent, we are decking out and shed and living in that during the build (2 adults 2 kids cosy). Our "death row" house is partially renovated and are planning on reusing a few things. One problem we have is all our applicances are gas. I have spoken to quite a few plumbers and have been told it would cost a bucket to get gas down to our shed (block is 47m deep). My main concern is our hot water service. It is continuous flow gas. I know I can buy an LPG conversion kit for around $100. Finding someone to convert it and install for me is another problem. Origin will not supply bottles without certificate of compliance however of the 5 plumbers I have spoken to none of them are prepared to do the job. Is it really that difficult?
