plywood interior lining
Hi folks ,
Doing a fit out on a new timber framed house and we are planning to line the interior with hoop pine faced ply . From asking around most recommend 12 mm thickness , that's OK , but we want to stain the ply which makes it more difficult with no obvious fixings . We have thought about fixing 7 or 8 mm MDF ,then gluing 5 mm ply over , there's probably some dollar saving that way in materials ,but maybe more work . We like the thought of the 12 mm for its straight stiff look , wanting to avoid any undulating look in the walls . Anyone have any thoughts , ideas , other plans ?
Be very keen to hear any suggestions ,
Cheers , Yochemin
