Quick job this morning. 450mm long finials
I like the bottom shape but I think they needed to be 100 mm longer on top!

I've no idea where there are destined to be placed but I think you are right about the extra length, also a defining cut or bead to balance the shape of shorter end.

They go on the top of the pitch of gable ends on a house.I should of mentioned that.
