    Default 40/40 grind practice !

Hi guys , I think I have finally got the 40/40 grind on my gouges with a lot of practice and grinding a lot of metal off !
And the finish right off the gouge is amazing , I roughed down to round a piece of claret ash and the surface is as smooth as if I had sanded to 240g
Very happy with the results .......

I was having a play with the 40/40 grind over the Christmas break and like you found the finish off the tool was fantastic. It's well worth having a go.
