Assistance Reqd
I was wondering whether any of you out there might be interested in helping me out.
I have a workbench project on the go and as part of the project i need/want to make a couple of vises using wooden bolts. I have tried to make the blanks using a router jig i made but the finish isnt up to scratch. For the purposes of discussion the blanks are to be in the area of 50 -60mm diameter by 600 long. Tallowwood to be laminated to create the blank.
I am located in Melbournes north west.
If anyone is interested send me a reply
Regards

I turned some vice bolts for Woodwould ages ago. Wonder if they are on his blog.? Can't find it in a hurry. Made that one in Merbu. Think he cut the thread with a router like you are doing.

Found the thread about it. No info about the threads there though.

I could turn them for you but I am the other end of Melbourne. I think there are closer turners that would be able to do it.
