B,B,B,B, Backyard blackwood bowl blanks.
Had the chance to grab some timber from an old blackwood tree in a suburban backyard today.
An old tree that measured 900mm dia 1.5 metres above the ground.
Access was difficult so suited to bowl blanks.
Have to go back tomorrow to try and get the remainder.
Here they are in back of flat tray, biggest blank in picture is approx 22 inches square and perhaps 5-6 inches thick.
