Bowl and other gouges plus hollowing tools etc for sale at upcoming TTTG sale Feb 23.
I have brought up from Mogo the tuning tools which were used by Don Lee at his shed down there.
Don passed way last year and I have been gradually selling his tools and machinery for Pam.
There is also a Vic Mark VL250 available plus a lot of tool rests and face plates. These are still in Mogo.
Pam and I will be selling the tools at the TTTG tool sale at Thornley on Feb 23rd. (See Announcements for details https://www.woodworkforums.com/f12/20...4/#post1744230).
There are about 35 gouges,30 skews and scrapers etc and 16 drill, mini tools and other bits and bobs.
I am not a Turner but did work in Don's Fyshwick studio in 80s so some of these descriptions may not be strictly by the book.

TTTG sale?
The The Traditional Tools Group sale is a Sunday market type sale where thousands of hand tools are for sale.
The sellers range from professional rag and bone dealers to collectors/amateurs selling off spare kit and boomers selling off Grandpa's funny old gear.
The bulk is woodworking hand tools but there is always a good selection of quality engineering stuff.
Wood turning hasn't been featured before so as I have a lot of quality stuff to sell I'm putting a heads up here.
I used to run the Sydney Tool Sale and Swap since 1986 but being retired I'm getting geriatric and grumpier so the club has taken over.

Tool sale
Snmall point but the suburb is Thornleigh (not Thornley - but is between Normanhurst & Pennant Hills stations). If travelling by vehicle (south to north - Pennant Hills Road) turn left at Dartford Road lights and follow
prompts. Obviously if travelling (south to north) turn right at Dartford Road. It is near the golf driving range. Plenty of parking under the building - the indoorsports centre. Drillit.

I have had a few inquiries re the lathe, so here are a few more pics. I will be up the coast until the 20th so won't be able to add more info. If you are interested in the lathe see me and Pam at the sale on the 23rd. H.
