    Default Two boxes

Two boxes turned today the spalted one was very punky so a good soak in thinned sander sealer and left to dry before turning did the trick along with some very sharp tools. Many people ask about turning punky wood and this shows it can be done. The second is American Black Walnut the lid it turned of centre and then decorated.
Both of them are finished with sander sealer and woodwax22. The decoration is highlighted with liming wax

The first one sort of looks like ivory or bone, super nice
