Well done getting first place!. Gotta be happy with that.
Wondering if this is a functional item or more a decorative one?
What material are the metal rods?.
Also what is going on, on the underside of the lid it looks very interesting?.

Hi AB, yeah, It was only decorative, I don, t think it would hold water
The metal pins are cut from a 6mm aliminum rod from bunnies and
Polished up with fine sandpaper , the underside of the lid is chatterwork
with gold paint applied and wiped off while still wet.
Thanks for comments , and yes very happy with outcome , did not think
I would have got a first prize
Thanks mick , appreciate your comments , I wasn, t sure
which section to put it in , lidded box or vase !Cheers smiife
