Thread: Clearance Sale is a turners paradise.

Let me begin by saying I have zero connection with this mob & I've only been there once - today.

Driving around Sth Gippsland today I noticed a timber/wood shop that I sort of knew was around the general area but I had never been there. Driving past it today I noticed a clearance sale sign so in I went. Auswoodcraft has an amazing collection of mostly Aussie timber, blanks, burls, slabs, etc and he makes bespoke furniture. If you're down Sth Gippsland way in the near furture, drop in. He's moving locations so has marked almost everything down and is also accepting offers.

I picked up some interesting pieces today, my favourite being a really heavy spindle blank of Fiddleback Redgum approc 40cm x 7cm x 7cm for $10.
