You even claimed that it is a new toy for every woodturner. Well if it is what I think it is, being that new lathe from Vicmarc that was beta testing a while ago, it is neither a toy nor for every woodturner for most of us can't afford it.

    Peter.

    Its not the lathe

I'm sorry peter I don't get on all the time like Some people
I got on well I had time I was back Monday and gone Thursday and had other stuff to do.

At what point did I say it was a lathe ??
    it is not a lathe!!!

If you stop to think its nice to have a tool maker stop and talk to woodturners and ask what they want in a tool and take there ideas in.
2 members of THIS FORUM input went in to the product

I started it because if you read the first post
There was members off the forum at a GTG up at the Gold Coast wood turners last weekend who seen the new toy and had the idea to place it up here

given that the product was for sale last weekend I'm waiting on better pics then the one pic I had
I didn't want to stick bad pics of the product up !
a good photo can sell a product on its own.

given I use a iPhone and I pad when posting on this forum.

And I'm waiting on a price tag.

And I had sent a msg to another member last week who has had a lot of work on
who had said that they had wanted to get better pics then the ones they had aswell.

I had hoped to have pics and a price tag but sometimes things don't turn out how you hope

ps people don't have a hart attract pics and price will be up soon another member is going to upload them as soon as they get them
    DANGER!!!!

Lost interest sorry couldn't be bothered if the product is already on sale as of last weekend you do not need permission to post pics and pics from your point of view to us would be better than commercial photos.

You have also convinced me never to buy an iPad/iphone all the hype about how professional photos can be taken using one seems your cant.

This place is SO full of grumpy old pharts.

Get over it 'cos everytime you post in here others comes back looking for the pic/announcement & all they find is a chorus of knockers ready to write the item off 'cos they are just a mob of old women.

Buzz off & wait & stop yer grizzling.

I've seen the item, it is a 'better mouse trap.'

I'm sure that a fair few of you who are stomping around in here bitching & moaning won't buy it anyway 'cos yer too old & miserable.
    Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

You can have Bombay duck so I suppose they're dried and put in Bombay mix.

Guess I'll pass as well. I have only seen standard issue mice around here

Yup, like most people around here I routinely pass over great products because I prefer to be miserable.

To paraphrase your words - at what point did I say that you said it was a lathe.

Should have let them do it, for they may have posted pics and prices.

If it was for sale last weekend why the secrecy.

a good photo can sell a product on its own.
True, but this delay doesn't do it any good.

Note to all, when information and pics available please start a new thread.

Closing this one as it has gone off the rails.
