Conover lathe reversing switch failure
I have a Conover lathe that has a failed reversing switch. It’s THE FORWARD-OFF-REVERSE switch. The switch only has one marking on it “USA 0021”. I’ve tried to find an image that matches mine on the internet with no luck. I also searched the internet for the proper switch that Conover used with no luck.
Has anyone had to replace this switch and what did you use?
Below are some pictures of the motor control box and the switch.

If S Cal is Southern California, take the switch & all the bits to a motor shop. Any shop should have a replacement. They could also check what looks to be a capacitor in your photo. If you don't use reverse a plain on - off switch would work. Put a wire nut on the end of the reverse wire from the motor.
Edit: Check with these folks: KB Electronics, 9370, KBMD-240D, 0-90/0-180VDC, .75/1.5 HP, Nema 1, DC Drive
If you have one of the original Conover lathes with the wood bed, they were usually sold without motor or bed.
