    Default Emu Apple with spirals

This piece of Emu Apple came from Emerald courtesy of TTIT aka Vern.

The usual 24 tapered spiral in this case its only been buffed no other finish has been applied, It has the ability to polish up to a high degree. Probably wont use WOP on this as it probably wont key to the wood, although I have come up with a set up that will allow me to apply WOP on a highly polished surface and key. But at this stage its 'still in developement' as they say. Size 6" high 5 dia with 1.5" opening.

    Love it

Stunning, great form and beautiful timber. Could you describe how you formed the spirals at all?

Ah, Spiral, that'll be Hughie then. Nice turning there.

And I love the name of some of your timbers - Emu Apple!
