    Default Fire

.. As usual I am found to "fight" with a piece of wood that is heavily scarred by time and the whims of nature ... various cracks and wood rot to try to exploit, to come up with something pleasing to the eye ... crepava almost cool enough "visibly" .. overnight .. plus I took the liberty to "play" a bit with the fire and this is the result .. the effect sought is that "the fire came from" ... I then "further collided" with the exponential growth of cracks during construction .. "and I would like to see" you say .. ! ... wood is apricot ...

inside where you could not continue to make the flame because the wood was actually enough "proven" .. I completed the work of blackening with two coats of acrylic matte ...

a great experience , and I learned that "if when you sand the wood, it begins to" eat "the soft parts .. with fire is the exact opposite ... as soon as you draw near the torch shows the design of the vein .. so not to overdo it ... wet rag in hand, ready to stop the excesses, and so on ..

What do you think ... ?

I don't like burned/charred pieces. I really like this a lot. You have made me re-evaluate a whole genre of work, which is a pretty big achievement. Thank you
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".
