Default Floating Floor Glue, How To Remove

I have some cut off sections of 19mm Spotted gum which is stuck to a thick plywood backing with something that LOOKS similar to liquid nails. I'd like to separate the spotty from the ply to reuse.

It was a 1 year old floor that got flooded and cut out in sections so I assume the adhesive is to an industry standard for the kind of installation?

Sould I be able to separate it or will I just end up with a pile of splinters and noting useable?

    Heat may work
It's generally quite rubbery the glue it's designed to flex.
Once apart you will need to sand it off
It's not a FUN day tho

I took up a bamboo floor that was put down with that stuff. It is a lot like liquid nails, but tougher. Ended up using a 90lb electric jackhammer to pry up the planks at the joints and then used a mattock blade to lever each plank off of the floor in pieces. The stuck remains were removed with a tile scraper operated by blisters and sweat.

Prognosis so far doesn’t sound like going to yield useable results.

I just realised this is in woodturing for some odd reason. I thought it was posted in woodworking general. If the admin would like to move it.

    You can get useable timber.
It's just that your not getting a free lunch with it [emoji849].
