    Default first hollow form +

    got some time in the workshop today and had a go at my first hollow turning. went really well i love the swamp mahogany.

    also i made a siky oak nutcracker, unknown timber office set, and a pen and pacer.

    the shape is due to the peice having rot in it once i turn away the rot this is basicly the shape that was left i just refinded it a bit.

    i mean it was all my idea.

    i made a chisel to make hollowing easyer once i had finished and new what i needed.

    i just used a bowl gouge for this one.

    but the tool i made works great

    Well done, Carl. Is it hollowed all from the opening, or is it two pieces? Looks right good, either way.
