Default I think I finally get it!

Went to a club turning day at Robbo's on Friday! "Why do you need to go there on your day off? " I hear you say! Well I was in 2 minds myself, but hell. I always learn somerthing at these things. Didn't think anything much happened oin the day, but had a quick go doing beads with the skew today and "ta daa" before the news was over I had a small stick of beads. Only one little catch where I thought "Oh I see! Not like that! " So there you go! Only took me 3 years!

Skew is another offensive four letter word, in the same vain as work.

Well done TL!

Thumbs up

Well done TL!!

I learnt to use a skew after watching Mike Darlow's Video - several times. I consciously talked myself through the process as I was doing it. Great satisfaction when things went right!!

Sorry about the pic guys/ I lost the original post after I up loaded the pic so I then linked to the image instead. Must have been too tricky for some

And I'm a slow learner I guess.

The next step is to make another one, just like that one.

2 of them a day for another 3 years and that 'little catch' might become a thing of the past - but knowing the skew, I doubt it!

Skew? What is a Skew? Is that the funny shapped thing that allways digs in to everything you put it near?

Great tool once you get the hang of it.. I have only just started to get confident with it after about 4 years turning.
