"immemorial tree of life"
Here is a piece that was made in 2018 This piece is a 15 1/2" D Curly Cherry Platter. it was first turned then hand drawn, and lightly hand carved and then the image burned. I'm glad I finish with Tung Oil and dry for several months then did the carving work. then I used Deft sanding sealer then sanded back to 800 grit and hand buffed w/ a cloth. You can see that the lighter section stands out more that was carved after letting the Tung Oil dry, just before this photo was takin after I gave it a wipe of Daddy Vans bees wax and it really POPS!

Interesting piece Splinterz.
You have obviously put a lot of work into it and the craftsmanship looks good.
Does not seem to be a functional item.
Would you dare to explain where you are coming from with it?
Find it strange no one has commented on your work.
