    Default A jarring effect

These small jars are available at some $2 shops
    and come in three colours.

I then turn and hollow out a suitable piece of wood
and insert the jar (nice and snug). On this occasion
I used Wild Cherry with a white lid.

The lids are transparent which is a bonus as the
    contents can easily be seen.

The finished bottle looked good when we saw it at the club Allan. It was nice timber you used to make it,

The timber, "Wild Cherry" was recovered from a farm up at Broadford. The farmer had a log
at least two metres long and about 500mm diameter with two magnificent burls on it.
I drooled when I saw it and thought that was what he had invited me to come there for.
Instead, a mate and I had to trudge down the side of his mountainous property for about
half a kilometre, walking behind his tractor with my trailer on, and we were basically picking
up small branches and clearing his property for him. He intended selling the property and
the log with burls is probably still beside his driveway near his house.
