    Yep, got the springs too, so will try winding it up this weekend.

    i bought a reel of brickies string, so hopefully that will work.

    All done and ready to use. The design was inspired by Stephen Ogle from YouTube. Wheels generously supplied by Smiife, thanks Michael. I did however swap out the original bearings for a set of high speed bearings I had laying around.

    All systems go. Now just got to wait for the lathe to come back.
