lattice rim bowl
This a 320mm bowl with groves cut in the upper surface of the rim with a trimmer router , then cut through from the underside with a parting tool .The timber is chinese tallowtree and the finish is DO.

I think there was only 3 or 4 coats coats of DO .

It took a lot of work with sandpaper and a tiny file to tidy up the grooves .
