    Default Mini lidded box

Not a lot of time in the shed lately, been some what tied up with other issues. A local group has an exhibition starting this week end so I reckoned that was a reasonable motivation. This little job is made from some red lancewood. It measures 55mm high including the finial and 35mm diameter.

Sorry Jim but the proportions of the bottom don't quite gel for me.

i have to agree with artme Jim, the proportions seem a bit "heavy" for its size. I would never have picked it as one of yours.

I don't buy that for one minute. I suspect there is a dab of glue in there.

Nice work, good luck with the exhibition / art show.

The little fellow was awarded a second. The "rejected" Melbourne entry was awarded a first.
