    Default missing jaws

    G'day
About a year ago I had a bowl explode on me and part of it hit my set of standard vicmarc jaws which were sitting on my sawbench behind me and I was only able to find three jaws .
I thought it'l turn up eventually . In the meantime I have been using a set of shark jaws which do almost everything the standard jaws will do .
I have just finished doing an extensive cleanup from one end to the other of my shed with no sign of the missing jaw .
My question is , do any of you multi chuck owning turners have a set of standard jaws for a vicmarc chuck that are surplus to requirements and would like to sell them to me for a fair price before I lash out and buy a new set .

Ted, I'll have a look next time I'm around at my workshop.

If it was Nova I could probably help out. All of my Nova chucks came with a set of 50mm jaws, most of which have never been used.

By the time I was buying Vicmarc chucks the option of a companion chuck that came without jaws was available so I tended to go with them and then add the particular jaws I required.

And you do know that the minute you get them the missing one will turn up. i dropped a piece from a machine had all the workshop out and could not find it, next day it was found sitting on a machine that i had moved.
Have you noticed that where you think you heard it drop it will be in the totally opposite direction.

I have found a dead radio speaker that has the ceramic magnet dragged around behind and under benches will find all manner of lost steel and iron bits and tools.
So much timber, so little time.
