Well I'm in sort of, now comes the challenging part. I suspect there might be a little more culling, its just a niggling feeling.

I have gone for two workshops, a 6x3.5m shed and a double car garage to a 7x3.25 garage/carport. The triage process has largely been a work in progress with the timber collection somewhat slashed by a 1/2 to 2/3's have drawn the line there, thats it. Still looking at move a few things such spare motors, unused tools etc a rather large Donut chuck, a small longworth chuck kept the big one. virtually all major engineering gears such as cold saw etc.
Still there always an upside, sold 4 woodturned pieces at the local expo, and got an inquiry from a local shop to sell more with minimal to nothing in commission all I have to is get it sorted in the shed

Pat your most welcome, in between sorting I needed a break. So started with the bed extensions.Its a bolt on , but I'm tack welding in place for alignment

I think we all fall into the trap of "I will use that one day." It's very difficult to cull some stuff.

I still have some of my Dad's (a builder) power (Makita made in Japan) tools and hand tools that we both used when I worked alongside him. He passed in 1986. Some like a DeWalt radial arm docking saw take up a fair footprint in my 8 x 4 m space, but it still gets occasional use. My BIL is a 'leccky so I get him to test them every couple of years when he visits. They are still functional & electrically safe but not something I would sell to others due to their era of minimal machine guarding etc. The jury is still out in making a decision on moving them on.

Some stuff like powder actuated tools (Omark) got disassembled long ago and disposed off in pieces at different times & locations so they could not be "repurposed."

Moby at the end of the day I had to be ruthless culled workshop a couple of times, the wood pile 4 times. I admit might have been a bit too ruthless on the wood pile But reducing 50sm to 21sm was the order of the day, such is life.
