Natural Yellowbox Bowl
Hi all, These Australian hardwoods are, umm, hard. This bowl measures 6 1/2" x 2 1/2".
To me it looks like the wood has boiled and overflowed over the top like lava. Sorry for the amount of photos, but every side was different and I couldn't decide which photo to leave out. Harry

Wonderful stuff!
Your description of boiling over is spot on.
Nowhere near too many photos.____________________________________________________________

I think most people would have turned the whole thing.
I've said it before (and will probably say it again) - I love it when people have the courage to leave most of the wood natural.
It looks fantastic.Dragonfly

That is one beautiful bowl. Not a volcano for me but a smelting pot of gold.
