Dave allow 2m long x 1 metre deep.

This allows you to be able to get the lathe in position and have room at the head stock and tailstock. And back of room if something goes pear shape.

The 1624 has already got a stand with it but you may find it a bit low.

Dave its an easy fix couple of bits of tube harder to fix if its cast legs.

I thought it was adjustable legs on that model its just Peters one set up for his wheelchair bound turners.
