Nova G3 Chuck
Hi all and Happy New Year.
Has anyone had trouble with the circlip coming loose from its groove in the G3's scrolling mechanism? I have had jaws come loose and it seems to be made worse when I tighten it right up. Only had chuck for a few months. Any advice appreciated

It sounds like you have a bad chuck. I have one that is almost 9 years old, has been abused by using it for almost 300 large pieces, and it's still as tight and strong as the day I first used it. I don't know about the G3 guarantee, but the SN2 has 5 years.......... Jerry (in Tucson)USA

hmmm
Definitely a dodgy chuck I would be taking it back. I have 8 nova chucks for well over ten years and only one mishap. Chuck was too old for parts so I had to make my own. 15 years made in NZ
