Ornamental Turning
I was wondering what the depth of Ornamental Turning was here in Oz?
I haven't seen mention of it to date within these forums and though it is a specialised field,I wondered if it was a dying art?
Given the requirements of a dedicated machine/lathe to this field then I would assume that the interest here in Oz is limited, but it would be good to hear a break-down of the art for anyone looking at new prospects within the turning regime,.
Cheers

Gooday.
John, there is a strong following of ornamental turners in Vic.
If you go to the clubs page on the home site and Click on Vic and then Peninsula woodturners Guild, they have some interesting articles there.
