    Default Outside the square?

Been playing around with a new "style", different from what I have done in the past. Still deciding if I like the abstract pattern though. This one is made from pine with walnut veneer details. Measures 200mm diameter and about 185mm high. Had to solve some new assembly problems along the way, but that is what happens sometimes. Very interested in comments.

Love the concept Jim. Are you planning on extending it to other projects, possibly with more of a contrast in timber segments?

That is the plan Kerry, this one is the first. Already started on mark 2.

Interesting Jim I think it has great potential, more contrast perhaps.

I like the design and simple light colour with contrasting black pin striping. I have seen numerous segmented turnings showing fine woodworking skills with intricate patterns and multiple colours that are way too busy for my liking.

    Just do it!

I am not seeing a photo or a way to get one. I logged out, and logged back in, still nothing. I see that others have seen a photo. ??????
So much timber, so little time.
