    Default pepper tree

grabbed a couple decent sized pieces as the abortionists made their way through one today. Ive never cut a tree down but fair go think I could have done a safer job.
Anyway is it worth keeping for turning I slapped some water based paint over it.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

I think the title is very appropriate for the guys cutting down that tree. State wide company but their work standards left a lot to be desired.

Tony I rough turned a few bowls of peppercorn a few years ago but ended up throwing them out as they all developed starlike shrinkage holes not just in the pith .

I would have to agree with Ted - it opens up all over the place but if you're happy filling a few holes, it can show a huge variety of colour and figure. This is one of my earliest pieces from back when I was still using brass powder as an infill - haven't turned another chunk since though

If I can turn something even resembling that, then I will be a very happy chappy.
