    Default In the Pink

    Small hollow form 3" X 4 3/4" with an 1/2" hole sanded inside and out to 400grit then textured on the outside finished with ebonising spray and dry brushed with pink iridescent paint Ok I know it does not look pink

    I like it, it is a piece that you could only see the colour variation when holding it in sunlight. I did see hints of pink in the second pic, amongst the deeper blue/purple.

    I guess the piece needs to be seen first hand to allow the pink to come through. The video does help.

    It did seem strange dipping the brush into pink and then seeing it turn blue as I applied it, I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I started

    This is the paint I used and as I stated it is strange dipping the brush in this colour and the end resulting colour.

    My preferred hollowing tool is the Crown Revolution but for this one I used a 3/8" bowl gauge.

    Yes we do have the occasional spells of sun shine at the moment too hot in the shed so fan on and having a sort out as I put something in a safe place and can now not find it
