Plum bowl
Acquired a 67 year old plum tree, some rot coming through. First time I'd seen plum grain.
No finish on the timber, might oil it.

Looks like it has some nice grain, would like to see another photo after you have applied the finish.

Was thinking of using canola oil, any other suggestions? Preferably not too dark.

Other half of the plum block, had a piece of the edge fall off.

I had plum jam for my morning breakfast yesterday and a small amount dropped on the floor does that count?
I like the way this grain patten is looking on this piece.
