Default Redgum Burl . . . Wall Plaque

I got the burl from Mal at the last Sydney WWW&T show.

    A shot of it's original size and shape . . .

A few shots of it still on the lathe . . .

I have finished it, pics to come, but MBGitW saw it and immediately said she loved it and we should hang it on the wall. It is oval, sanded to 180 and DO.

Ray, it could be from Kiama, last year . . . it only took me 364 days to get round to turning it It's still on of Mal's and when I get the finished pics, I'll send them on to Mal for his site.

You had a few on your lap, I was using and abusing

Hello Ted, I may have picked up a couple Coolibah Burl slabs yesterday. They may have been put away in the stash to acclimatise for a while . . .

Ray, you mean these pics. I haven't finished oiling it yet, it's a very thirsty bugger, but these show the colour and interest in it. Today I took it to work to show some mates and most could still smell the "eucalyptus" smell.
