I have the Large Revolution tool which I got from Mark found it very good and certainly does what I want. I chose to have both the 1/2" and 5/8" shaft. I also brought an extra set of links so that both can be set up with different cutter.
The only down side I found when taking it out of the packet was that the scraper type cutters and scrapers needed a little work to get them ready for use the ring cutter works straight out of the packet and as mark shows this is easy to use.
Like most tools like this it does take a short time to get use to it if you have never used a ring type tool of any make, but then everything is a learning curve.
There are other makes that are capable of doing deeper forms but for me this one does meets my needs for the size of blanks that I can get hold of.
The mini version being of the same design I would imagine is the same to use as mine but would be ideal for the smaller vessels

It is the same concept as the Woodcut Pro Forme deep hollower. Nothing "revolutionary" about this tool. I find these tools work well on soft and green timbers. Not so good on harder timbers.
