River Sheoak
This is part of the haul of some months ago, its been under cover spalting along nicely, now to re-size and pack away for final drying. As you can see its opened up quite badly, But these are large chunks and will still yield some decent sized blanks.
Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working. — Pablo Picasso

Bit of a problem with casuarinas and allocasuarinas, they do split.
I tried treating some, as had been suggested to me by an uncle, by placing it in
a container of dishwashing liquid and water.
The stuff still split but only on one radius. I didn't think to leave a piece out to see
how it went without being treated this way!
