Default So what did Santa bring you? I got

... a couple of very nice items. A Vicmarc VM150 chuck and a Kelton multi-sized bowl-saver kit. How did he know that these were exactly what I wanted?

Hope everyone has a nice break and is able to set aside a little play time.

This year we decided no presents between SWMBO and myself but SWMBO insisted on stockings for all (son, DIL, MIL and us 2) so I ended up with a couple of useful things like a mokka pot for camping (half decent coffee is pretty high on the agenda) but nothing WW wise except for a Bunnings voucher from the MIL.

Hamlet square-nosed scraper and spindle gouge, pin jaws for my chuck and a couple of bench screws to add to my workbench when I make it. Oh, and my folks gave me a nice sum of money to put towards more tools, so I'll probably add to this haul soon .

My OH gave up on me and I go where I want wearing what I want. As long as I'm comfortable who cares really. I just try to leave all the bits that should be in the workshop in there

It works, most of the time and some of the time she disowns me

I got work braces to hold my trousers up, a new thinsulate hat (it's winter here) and a book on the history of wood and it's uses through the ages and by the worlds various cultures.

Also a promise of a Branding Iron for my work, when I know what I want it to say.

With the help of my Secret Santa I got the balance of the Rubber Chucky's that I wanted.

No more frustrating time wasted making jamchucks by us as the Chucky's will replace that outdated method.
